UTStarcom to Exhibit FMC, IP CDMA & IPTV Demos at EXPO COMM Mexico 2007

ALAMEDA, Calif., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UTStarcom, Inc.

mobile convergence platform at the company's booth (Hall B, No. 1806) at EXPO
COMM MEXICO 2007. The show, which is co-located with VON Mexico 2007 this
year, is this week from February 27 - March 2, 2007 at the Centro Banamex
Exhibition Center in Mexico City, Mexico.

In addition to its booth display, UTStarcom will also participate in two
panel discussions at the show this week. Guanglu Wang, senior product manager
of core switching at UTStarcom, will participate in the 'How Fixed Mobile
Convergence is Working in the US and EU' panel discussion from 8:30-10:00 a.m.
on Wednesday, February 28, in Palacio de Iturbide
Room 3.

Lazaro Perez, vice president of engineering at UTStarcom Caribbean and
Latin America, will participate in the 'IPTV Service Provider Offerings -
Success Stories' panel discussion from 12:30-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1,
in Palacio de Iturbide Room 1.
