scalable, and cost-effective platform,' said
Bill Huang, chief technology
officer and senior vice president of engineering for UTStarcom. 'We believe

the demand for VoIP and advanced broadband applications. By supporting TDM,
VoIP, and other IP-based services all over the same lines, the iAN-8000 is

incurring additional infrastructure expenses.'

The iAN-8000 converges the functionalities of several longstanding
UTStarcom technologies within a single chassis. It can be configured to deploy
a wide range of narrowband and broadband voice and data applications to
subscribers over a wireline network infrastructure. By integrating the
features of UTStarcom's proven AN-2000 Multi Service Access Node (MSAN),

iAN-8000 presents operators with an ideal strategy for incrementally migrating
from TDM to IP-based voice and broadband data applications. The platform can
be deployed in a central office as well as in remote/building node
applications using its wide range of functions. The iAN-8000's flexibility
